MEMBER DUES & CHARGES UPDATE
Correction to March Monthly Dues Billing – Originally, we planned to bill March dues in the middle of the month. However, after further review, we discovered that our POS system cannot support this change without requiring all members to be re‑entered into the system. As a result, we will continue billing monthly dues at the end of each month for that month’s dues. We apologize for any confusion and appreciate your understanding.
Also, as stated previously, we will no longer charge golf or food & beverage purchases to members’ accounts. Members may stop by the Golf Shop to place a secured credit card on file, and all in‑club purchases may be processed to that card at the time of purchase.
WEBSITE UPDATES
Inside the Members Portal of our website, we’ve added the information pages below to help you stay up to date.
Current News – This section will include emails sent to members (in case you missed one) and other pertinent updates. We will continue to communicate primarily through email, but this is another place to catch up on news at Split Rail.
Member Golf Events – This section lists upcoming Member Golf events month by month for 2026. Any changes will be reflected here, with an updated date shown at the top of the section. We look forward to a fun, competitive season.
Course Updates – On our main website, the top menu now includes a Course Updates tab. This tab displays a calendar of upcoming events, maintenance dates, and other golf-related activities.

Dear Split Rail Member,
Spring is right around the corner, and we’re looking forward to kicking off another great season at Split Rail. Please take a moment to review a few important updates and follow ups below.
Season Opener – Sunday, March 15Two-Person 6-6-6 Shootout
1:00 PM Shotgun Start | $59 per player ~ Grab a fellow member or invite a guest and join us for a fun, one-day event to start the season off right. The format will rotate every six holes—Scramble, Shamble, and Low Ball—keeping things competitive and entertaining from start to finish.
More details will be shared next week, but for now, be sure to mark your calendar.
COURSE UPDATE: February 27–28 ~ Aledo High School Bearcat Brawl Tournament ~ The course will host the Bearcats during these dates and will reopen for play in the afternoons. We appreciate your flexibility and support of local golf programs.
Tee Times & Cancellations Follow up (Fridays & Saturdays)
We wanted toclarify the tee time process and cancellations on Friday & Saturday from previous email sent in February.
TEE TIMES: Members can make tee times under a member’s name for ” up to” 4-5 members on a tee time slot. One/Two/Three-some tee times can still be made in a tee slot with the possibility of other players joining you to complete the foursome.
CANCELLATIONS: Tee time cancellation can still happen without any charges incurred due to weather, illness, etc. The main goal in this new policy (on Friday & Saturday only) is for members to let us know 5 days out if the time slot is still needed. If not needed, please let the golf shop know. This will assist in our tee sheet being optimized for other members and golfers wanting to play Split Rail
MEMBER CHARGE UPDATES/REMINDERS: All purchases made on account will be suspended on March 1st as stated before. February dues and purchases in February will be billed on March 2.
Through some research of our point of sale (POS) system, members may keep a credit card on file, securely, inside our POS system attached to their membership. Members may simply charge their credit card on file instead of on account. Staff will present a receipt upon completion of golf or food and beverage purchases.
Members may sign up for using a “credit card on file” by filling out a form in the golf shop or seeing Sam or Israel in the golf shop to input the data appropriately. Note: If a member currently pays dues through EZ PAY once a month, that credit info will not work in charging a “credit card” on file. They are separate systems inside the POS.
Members’ monthly dues will be billed around the 15th of each month for that months dues. This will start around March 15th.
Website & Member Portal Enhancements
We’re wrapping up updates to our website, including improvements to the Member Portal. Soon you’ll find:
• The 2026 Member Event Schedule
• Current member news and announcements
• An updated calendar with course events and important dates
We’ll send a follow-up once everything is live and ready for you to explore.
We’re excited about the season ahead and appreciate your continued support of Split Rail.
